ANSWER: A small amount of gel is first applied to the area of skin’s surface in the treatment area. A specific target temperature is set and the hand piece is moved across the treatment area gently in a sweeping or circular pattern. The system will automatically adjust the temperature of the device based on the feedback from the patient’s skin. A small area is treated for about five minutes. The number of treatments will be determined by the aesthetician.
ANSWER: Most treatments last about 30 minutes, but this depends on the area(s) being treated. Treatments are tailored to individual patients. Before your procedure begins, you’ll have a consultation to discuss your goals and the ideal treatment schedule to reach those goals. On average, one can expect up four to six treatments before reaching optimal results.
